APW - Hamilton, Grade 950, 23J, 16S, gold-filled OF Hamilton Railroad Model 6 recase with fancy initials to rear, "Stanley J. Hutchins" engraved within rear, white enamel DS dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel arbor, pinstripe pattern nickel damascene, s#855788.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, somewhat cloudy plates with scattered micro-fine scratches and few scattered tiny dark spots, one minuscule spot of oxide to center of smaller winding wheel arbor; excellent dial with few ultra-fine surface scratches within seconds-register, edge flake under bezel at setting lever; excellent hands, minute tip is bent slightly upwards; case shows light wear, ding to upper left rear shoulder, few scattered scratches and nicks to band, slightly reduced engraving detail, thin ring of wear to brass to bezel shoulder, few scattered thin strips of wear to brass along bezel, rear, and band edges and rear shoulder; tight slightly brassy bow, crown shows medium wear; clean plastic crystal.
